Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao Today held review meeting with Higher Officials on the after-effects of demonetization.
On this occasion, TRS Supremo asked Officials not to treat the money in excess of Rs 2.5 lakh as Black Money if it belongs to Common Man. He advised them to consider it just as an unaccounted money.
Later, KCR spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi over phone and explained him about the ground realities. PM asked Telangana CM to meet him in New Delhi in this week to discuss about the issue.
KCR is likely to obtain the appointment of PM Modi on Saturday. TRS Chief wishes to submit a detailed list on the measures to be taken for helping the poor and middle class. He would bring to the notice of PM that demonetization has affected the revenue earned through Excise, Sales Tax and Commercial Tax. He is going to appeal PM to extend the due date of debt to be paid to Centre due to the current situation.
