KCR's three-pronged strategy to win next elections

Update: 2022-03-20 03:50 GMT
Is KCR preparing ground to build up a campaign to discredit the BJP and the Central Government? Will this be used as a weapon to fight the upcoming elections? Will he be using the paddy procurement issue to go to the people? Will this be his chief electoral issue for the upcoming assembly elections?

From the details petering out of the recent emergency meeting in the Erravalli FarmHouse, it is becoming increasingly clear that KCR wants to go for snap polls.

He wants to have elections along with Gujarat assembly elections. While his term is to end in December 2023, KCR wants to advance the elections by at least a year.

He feels that the opposition would be unprepared for the elections and would be caught off guard. This will help KCR tide over the elections easily. KCR feels that since Congress is not in power in the Centre, targeting the BJP is the only option. Hence, he has decided to attack the BJP on the issue of paddy procurement.

At the same time, he is planning to release employment notifications to keep the youth busy with the preparations. Thus, their anger against the government would be nullified and they would not be involved in campaigning against the government.

Meanwhile, the MLAs have been asked to stay put in their respective constituencies so that they can rebuild their rapport with the voters. This three-pronged strategy will help the TRS tide over the next elections, KCR believes.
