Its known that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to set up a Cinema City spread over 2,000 acre in Hyderabad with an aim of giving a fillip to the film industry besides giving job opportunities to Telanganites.
KCR decision of constructing a cinema city in 2000 acres in Hyderabad is hot topic in film nagar. Politicians as well as Film Fraternity have welcomed the proposal. As ordered by KCR, revenue department launched search for right place to construct the cinema city. According to sources they have finalized the place too.The officials have reportedly suggested Rachakonda located at Ranga Reddy-Nalgonda border.They thought it will be right place for the cinema city and it has around has around 35,000 government lands.
Rachakonda is 25 KMs away from Shamshabad airport and is in the pathway of NH 65 Highway. And it is very nearer to prestigious Ramoji Film City. Does the new proposed city imposed threat for RFC?
