Sulking deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh and Kurnool strongman KE Krishnamurthy offered clarification over his comments on land pooling issue which created stir yesterday in political circles.Yesterday KE spoke to media and said that he was opposing the land pooling. He also reportedly said neither he nor his ministry were behind the land acquisition.
Now KE offered clarification over the matter and said that media twisted and misunderstood his comments. KE said: " My comments were misunderstood by media. I never says I was against land pooling. I told that people gave their lands without need of land pooling act. I never said government to halt land pooling and/or land acquisition in the name of capital region".
KE also made it clear that the he is not having differences with municipal minister narayana who is playing key role in Capital land acquisition.Ever since TDP came to power in June 2014, KE was against various decisions taken by his party high command and many times he expressed anguish in public paltforms.
This is becoming a perennial headache to the party leadership. Actually Land-pooling is a responsibility of Revenue Minister K E Krishnamurthy but he has kept himself away from the process.
