Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal made an explosive allegation against none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He accused Modi of accepting Rs 25 crore bribe from Aditya Birla Group when he was the chief minister of Gujarat in 2012.
During the special session of Delhi Assembly, Arvind Kejriwal said, 'This is for the first time in the history of Independent India, A PM's name surfaced in Black Money transactions'.
Kejriwal told the laptop seized during the raid on the Aditya Birla Group in 2013 by Income Tax Department consists of the details of the money transactions. He alleges bribe amount to the tune of Rs 25 crore was paid to then Gujarat CM from November 16th, 2012. He says Congress didn't raise the issue even though it was ruling in the centre then.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal alleged Narendra Modi has informed his friends in advance about the demonetization drive. He also dubbed the note ban as anti-poor and demanded roll back of demonetization.
