After registering thumping victory in Delhi elections Aam Aadmi Party has jump-started its plan of action. Kejriwal conducted first cabinet meeting and took key decision with many of them among were poll promises made by the party during elections.
Kejriwal, in the first Cabinet meet initiated the process to slash the power subsidy by 50 per cent. They also discussed about providing free water. Chief Minister directed the finance and power departments to send their proposal on how to cut power tariffs by half.
The cabinet also ordered to stop demolitions in the city until the government reviews the existing policies.Kejriwal asked the water Board to work on distributing up to 20,000 litres free water a month to every home.
The first meeting of the Delhi cabinet, chaired by Chief Minaister Kejriwal, was attended by deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, transport and development minister Gopal Rai, health and industry minister Satyendra Jain and among others.
