The protests strongly opposing CM Jagan's decision to have three capitals have become violent day by day with farmers and public hitting the roads. Women of the capital region have also joined the protests by holding the photos of Prime Minister requesting him to intervene.
The Amravati Conservation Society leaders have met the public representatives of Krishna-Guntur and gave letters to stop this procedure. The United Advocate Action Committee has called for a protest opposing the procedure to shift the High Court to Kurnool.
The police have said that there is no permission to the protest which is expected to kickstart at the Prakasham Bridge at Vijayawada. Citing that the protests will result in inconvenience to the commuters on this route the permission was not given. Polic was deployed in the Secretariat route and the adjacent village.
Meanwhile, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani was house arrested by police under precautionary actions. Ruling party MLAs and leaders are reportedly having a meeting in the capital region around 3:30 in the evening.
