Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani is a disgruntled man. He is unhappy that party chief Chandrababu Naidu has not addressed the issues flagged by him. Nani was upset at the back-stabbing by partymen in the recent Vijayawada municipal corporation elections. He took his complaint against local biggies Buddha Venkanna, Nagul Meera and Bonda Uma to Chandrababu Naidu. But, Chandrababu Naidu did not act upon any of them.
An upset Nani has written a letter to Chandrababu claiming that he and his daughter Shweta were unavailable for 2024 elections. Though he retracted his statement because of the pressure from the party workers, Nani is upset that there is no word from Chandrababu. Sources say that Kesineni Nani is protesting in his own way at this slighting by Chandrababu Naidu.
On October 18, he removed all posters of the TDP and his pictures with Chandrababu Naidu. All the posters and pictures inside the MP's office â the Kesineni Bhavan â too have been removed. Instead, Naniâs photo with Tata Group chairperson Ratan Tata has been placed. This perhaps iw his way of saying âTata Bye Byeâ to the TDP.
Meanwhile, Nani is also reported to have sent a communication to his supporters and party workers wherein he has said that he would not be available for any party programmes in future. Let's wait and see who things pan out. Will Chandrababu try to address Nani's grievances or will Nani really leave the TDP.
