Kiran Kumar Reddy resigned for CM post

After facing hell lot of criticism Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has tendered his resignation.He also announced  that he is quitting the Congress party.
The Chief Minister met some of his Cabinet colleagues and legislators from Seemandhra region before he addresses a press conference at 10.45 am.

"I am resigning from the post of the chief minister, as MLA and also from Congress party," Kiran said

Kiran  is miffed that the AP Reorganisation Bill has been passed by the Lok Sabha and that the Centre is keen to push it through in Rajya Sabha also.

He said, Andhra Pradesh state was formed with sacrifices of many people and said bifurcation will not do good to either regions.He blamed BJP for match fixing with Congress to pass the bill. He said the democratic India has been ruined by both ruling and opposition party.

Kiran proceeded to Raj Bhavan to hand over his resignation to Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan.
