Kodela Reluctant To Contest As MP

Update: 2019-03-08 07:58 GMT
Narasaraopet Sitting MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao decided to retire from active politics in 2019. Rayapati's Son is likely to contest from an Assembly Constituency in this elections.

TDP Leadership is contemplating on fielding Kodela Siva Prasad in Narasaraopet parliament constituency as its candidate. However, AP Speaker is reluctant to take such a huge risk.

Kodela made it clear he isn't interested in National Politics at all. He recalled turning down the proposal when NT Rama Rao offered him MP Seat.

Instead of contesting as MP, Kodela wishes to be TDP Candidate for Narasaraopet Assembly Segment where he faced defeat in two elections. He wants his Son to contest from his Sattenapalli constituency in the upcoming elections.

Seems like, All the influential leaders in TDP are aspiring for two tickets and most of them are able to get them. Two each for JC, Paritala, Kotla & Kodela!
