The Winter Session of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly is going to be held at AP Capital region instead of Hyderabad or Vijayawada. A decision has been taken in this regard by Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and AP Government. This is a key step towards shifting of administration from Common Capital Hyderabad to New Capital Amaravati.
To make this a reality, Speaker Kodela advised few changes to the design of AP Assembly which is going to be set up in Amaravati. He suggested the Team of Engieers to approach AP CM for approval before kickstarting the work.
Mr. Kodela gave clear instructions to Officials to make necessary arrangements for the construction of a 'Temporary' assembly on a 5-acre land in Thullur, Guntur district. The R&B Department is going to complete the mission on a war-footing basis due to time constraint.
If the Winter Session held at Amaravati is successful, The next Sessions of AP Assembly will also be taking place in premises of Temporary Assembly,
