TRS Government suspended Congress MLAs Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sampath from Assembly citing inappropriate behaviour. They were even expelled as MLAs by Speaker Madhusudhana Chary after he suffered an eye injury during the ruckus. Subsequently, The Two Legislators moved Hyderabad High Court and got a favourable decision.
Once again, Komatireddy and Sampath approached High Court regarding the denial of minimal security cover for the sitting MLAs by the State Government. They sought Two Gunmen (Two Plus Two) to protect them round-the-clock. Accepting the petition, High Court served notices to Telangana Chief Secretary, Home Ministry, DGP, Jogulamba Gadwal District SP and Nalgonda SP.
High Court questioned the Telangana Government why didn't it provide the security cover for the two MLAs. It would be much better if State Government provides security cover even before HC passes such an order. Is KCR ready for it or not?
