As a big development in Telangana politics, Congress leader and Bhongir Lok Sabha member Komtireddy Venkat Reddy has hit the headlines with his series of meetings with the Union Cabinet Ministers.

On Sunday, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has met Telangana BJP leader, who recently took oath as the Minister of Tourism, Minister of Culture, and Minister of Development of North Eastern Region

His meeting with Cabinet Minister Kishan Reddy has raised several doubts. However, Komatireddy said, there is no political agenda behind the meeting and he met him out of courtesy to wish him and seek his support to develop the historic Bhongir fort.

Komatireddy said he requested Kishan Reddy to release funds to develop the Bhongir fort and other historic structures in the state. There is no positive response from the state government on this, the Lok Sabha member said.

It has been widely reported that Kishan Reddy had reacted positively to his request and assured Komatireddy Venkat Reddy that funds will be released very soon.

On Saturday, Komatireddy met with Mansukh L. Mandaviya, who took charge as the Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new cabinet. In total, 43 new Cabinet Ministers took oath on July 7 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Senior Congress leader Komtireddy Venkat Reddy openly opposed the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) selection process. The other day, he termed the post as a small position.
