TDP MLA and national president of BC welfare Association R Krishniah said he would launch a hunger strike on December 30 in challenge against the Telangana government's state of mind towards repayment of charges to the understudies. Speaking to media persons here, Krishnaiah said that the hunger strike would be held at Indira Park on December 30.
He said that the TRS Government was doing injustice with BCs on the issues like creamy layer. Krishnaiah said TRS government should respond on the demands of the students of Telangana district. In Andhra Pradesh, the government has disbursed the fees and accepting new applications for reimbursement, he said.
It was not proper on the part of chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to play with the lives of the students who voted him to the poeer, Krishnaiah said. Further, he demanded that 50% of seats in law making bodies should be reserved for BCs. Krishnaiah said that over 100 leaders of various BC associations would participate in the hunger strike.
Krishnaiah won from TDP IN 2014 elections and his name was announced as CM candidate during elections. But from few months he has been sulking and it has raised several speculations. Now the sudden attack of the strong BC leader on TRS govt surprised all.
