The 29th state of India Telangana is all set to witness one more fierce political battle. The upcoming MLC elections will offer another edge-of-the-seat contest. Ruling TRS and BJP have taken the MLC polls seriously and started making strategies for the polls.
Ahead of the MLC polls, Working President of Telangana Rashtra Samithi, IT Minister Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao targeted the saffron party BJP and said the TRS government gave more than 1.3 lakh jobs in the state over the past six years.
To target the ruling TRS, sitting MLC Ramchander Rao challenged the IT minister for a debate over crucial fields like employment and education at the historic OU Arts College in Hyderabad.
The MLC tried to pull KTR's leg for not showing up for the debate at the OU Campus. In a tweet, Ramchander Rao said, he has reached the campus and asked where the IT Minister is?
"I Am Here at Arts College. Where are you, Mr. @KTRTRS? #WhereIsKTR", the sitting MLC's tweet reads. The sitting MLC shared the sketch of him waiting at the campus in his tweet.
KTR who is known for giving befitting replies gave it back to the sitting MLC. In the reply tweet to MLC, KTR said he is busy collecting information on 12 crore jobs and Rs 15 lakhs money as promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He even gave a new definition for National Democratic Alliance(NDA) alliance. KTR said, N, D, and A stands for No Data Available.
"I am busy gathering information on the 12 crore jobs (2Cr per year) & â¹15 lakhs in all Jandhan accounts promised by Hon'ble PM Shri Modi Ji. NDA is the answer so far N â No, D â Data, A â Available. Please share if you have any answers," KTR's tweet reads.
After KTR replied to BJP MLC's tweet, TRS activists and sympathisers flooded Twitter with the promises made by BJP leaders that were missed.
The ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) is not leaving any stone unturned to counter BJP and win the MLC polls. As part of the efforts, Telangana CM KCR has fielded Vani Devi, daughter of former prime minister PV Narasimha Rao as TRS MLC leader.
