Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao appealed WhatsApp CEO Chris Daniels to set up WhatsApp Customer Service Centre in Hyderabad. There was a positive response from CEO of the Social Networking App to the appeal.
Facebook established it's first Hub in Asia in the Pearl City. FB acquired WhatsApp in 2014. Chris Daniels is currently on a 5-day tour in India. KTR went to meet him along with Facebook PPD Head Sivanath.
Post the meeting, KTR informed having a fascinating dialogue with Chris Daniels. He claimed sharing his personal experiences of using WhatsApp extensively and also requested Chris Daniels to set up operations in Hyderabad.
