Record Rainfall...KTR Stuck In Traffic!

In the month of September, Hyderabad received record amount of rainfall and its the highest in 100 years. None other than Minister KT Rama Rao shared this news on his Twitter handle.

Over 110 mm of rainfall was recorded in Hyderabad so far in September 2019. In Malkajgiri alone, 20 mm rain was recorded. Weather Forecast hints heavy rains in the capital city in the next 48 hours. On the other hand, Hika Cyclone is posing a threat. All these factors are worrying the Hyderabadis more than anything else.

Low-Lying Areas got submerged due to the heavy rainfall in Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Film Nagar, Ameerpet, SR Nagar, Saidabad, Santhosh Nagar, Dilshuknagar, Erragadda, Yusufguda, Malakpeta, Chadarghat, LB Nagar, Hayatnagar and Vanasthalipuram. People had seen the worse because of the unprecedented rains. Huge Traffic Jams between Hi-Tech City & JNTU and at Madhapur reflect the dire situation. None other than Minister KTR experienced the nature's fury in Banjara Hills and he remained in the convoy for so much time. GHMC Authorities got alerted and took measures to clear the flood water at the earliest.
