Telangana TDP President L Ramana accused Revanth Reddy of planning to quit the parent party since the past six months. 'Revanth Reddy has been in touch with Congress Party since the six months. It was Congress Leadership which made him wait for months to seek the opinion of other party members,' he said.
L Ramana told T-Congress Leaders DK Aruna and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy opposed the entry of Revanth Reddy and hence he met them secretly to get into their good books. 'Revanth Reddy decided to quit TDP long back. If not Congress, He would have joined some other party,' says the Party's Telangana unit Chief.
Mentioning about the emotional outburst of Revanth Reddy while leaving TDP, L Ramana described it as nothing but shedding crocodile's tears and blamed him for misusing the opportunity given to him by party leadership. 'Just alike Nadendla Bhaskar Rao conspired with Indira Gandhi to dethrone NTR, Revanth Reddy joined hands with Rahul Gandhi to ruin TDP. I treated him like My Brother but he took the opportunist politics to a whole new level,' he alleged.
Mr.Ramana told TDP will field its candidates in 119 constituencies in next elections.
