BJP President Amit Shah getting stuck in a lift for about 40 minutes stirred a controversy in pool-bound Bihar.
On Thursdat night, Amit Shah was trapped inside an elevator for more than half-an-hour at state guest house in Bihar capital Patna. Security Personnel and Party Workers came to his rescue and helped him get out of it.
Bihar BJP Unit termed this incident as a conspiracy of Nitish Kumar Government. Mangal Pandey who is the president of Bihar BJP Unit commented - 'If this is the condition of state guest house, imagine the plight of common man in the state'.
RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, on the other hand, blamed Amit Shah for entering the elevator despite being over-weight.
BJP aims 185 seats in 243 Bihar Assembly in the upcoming General Elections.
