The ruling outfit in Telangana Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) is not leaving any stone unturned to have an overall development in the state. From improving the infrastructure, road connectivity, and tourist attractions, the state government is giving its best efforts. The hard work the government is putting in is going in the right direction.
As a shot in the arm for the efforts, American multinational technology corporation Microsoft announced that the India datacenter region will be set up in the capital city Hyderabad. This means a big investment for the pearl city Hyderabad that enjoys many companies already.
Besides thousands of crores as investment, Microsoft will also come in handy by providing services related to cloud, AI, IoT, and cybersecurity solutions for the Telangana government, and the services can be used for easy governance.
Microsoft in an official statement said that, under the agreement made with the Telangana government, the company will provide support for young girls so that they can build careers in cybersecurity. Besides this, the officials would be upskilled and the people from rural areas would be helped by training them with technical skills.
The datacenter which will come in Hyderabad will lend a helping hand for various purposes like education, start-ups, and even government institutions. Microsoft already has an office in Hyderabad. During the combined state, Microsoft entered Hyderabad and the datacentre is an extension for Microsoft.
TRS Working President and Industries & Commerce, and Information Technology Minister KTR had expressed his happiness over Microsoft coming to Hyderabad. He said that Microsoft choosing Hyderabad over other cities makes him feel delighted.
Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao who also holds the Municipal Administration & Urban Development portfolios said that he is happy that the biggest data center of Microsoft will be coming in Hyderabad and dubbed it as the biggest Foreign Direct Investment(FDI) Telangana had ever received.
Clouding is the new trend across the globe and the companies are after firms that offer cloud services. Microsoft, which is one of the big names in the sector is coming to Hyderabad and its customers in India will benefit greatly from this.
