A stray Leopard entered Vibgyor High School premises on Sunday in Bengaluru. The unusual visitor created panic among the staff of education institution & people in the locality.
The wild animal attacked and injured three people before being tranquilized. Wildlife activist Sanjay Gubbi and Benna (who is the Chief Conservator of Forest - Bengaluru) were admitted in Apollo Hospital following the attack. Sanjay Gubbi's hand & leg were severely damaged, that's when he has beaten up the big cat like a dog out of anger. Fearing the assault, The Leopard ran away from him.
Leopard was first spotted by School Security Guards at around 5.30 near the toilets. Soon, Cops were alerted and Forest Department Officials swung into action. Finally, The 12-hour operation ended at 6.30 pm.
The Leopard was captured by CCTV cameras installed in the school at 4 am and 4.15 am wandering in the corridors.
