In the view of rising Coronavirus cases in the country, the Central government has again extended the nationwide lockdown to two more weeks and will now go on till May 31. This is the fourth time that the government is extending the lockdown amid the rising case toll.
Meanwhile, the Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra governments have already extended the lockdown.
During the lockdown 4.0, there will be several relaxations to the states where the virus is reportedly low, and people hope that the government will announce more relaxations in Green and Orange zones.
While the lockdown has been prolonged nationwide, an order on phase-wise lifting or relaxation of the curbs will be notified soon.
As of now, the Covid-19 cases in the country has risen to 90,927 while the death toll has gone up to 2,872.
