The Chief Minister of Telangana has put several proposals in the council of ministers which is held on Sunday.
CM KCR proposed to extend the lockdown up to 7th of the May. By this time, all the existing contaminant zones would have completed their 14 days of mandatory isolation. Any new subsequent contaminant zone will be taken as a one-off unit for the purpose of contaminant.
He also proposed to suspend all the door to door deliveries including food deliveries in order to prevent the spread of virus through transmission.
KCR also proposed that landlords and homeowners may defer collecting rents from tenants for 3 months from March only for rented premises for residential purposes in view of hardship caused by the lockdown.
