Luke Fletcher suffered a serious head injury during the T20 Blast between Nottinghamshire & Birmingham at Edgbaston on Saturday.
Batting first, Nottinghamshire scored 159 runs in 20 Overs. Nottinghamshire bowler Luke Fletcher came to bowl the 4th Over when Birmingham was batting. The first ball bowled by him was driven so powerfully that Fletcher collapsed on the ground after being hit on the head. Soon, He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
This freak accident came as a rude shock to Players of both the sides. Some of them had even broke down. Empires have halted the play for 30 minutes keeping the mental condition of players in mind. In the end, Birmingham Team chased the target.
