The protests triggered by the PRC issue in Andhra Pradesh is a big issue in the state. Irrespective of what the leaders are saying on the issue, the protesting employees are saying that they will not take a back step in protesting against the PRC issue.
At the time when the employees were gearing up to take their protest to the temple city Vijayawada with Chalo Vijayawada, a lunch motion petition was filed in the Andhra Pradesh High Court against Chalo Vijayawada.
The petition was filed in the High Court to seek directives to not grant permission for the employees for the meeting. However, the High Court said that it cannot hear the lunch motion petition that was filed against the meeting in Vijayawada.
While refusing to entertain the petition, the Andhra Pradesh High Court said that it cannot interfere in the issue. Having said that, the court said the government will take a call on the meeting as a few restrictions were in place in the wake of the Covid impact.
The lunch motion was filed in the High Court ahead of the Chalo Vijayawada program by the Andhra Pradesh employees. As per the protest schedule of the employees, the Chalo Vijayawada will be held on the 3rd of this month. We have to wait and see what happens in this regard.
