Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan was seen dancing with his colleagues at an event in the state's Sehore district on Sunday.
Surrounded by BJP leaders and workers, the Chief Minister is seen dancing on the stage while handing over lease certificates related to forest rights to tribals in Bhilai village of Sehar district.
The video of BJP leaders and activists enthusiastically holding bows in their hands and dancing to folk music is going viral on social media. Speaking on the occasion, he said that lease certificates were issued to tribals who owned forest land before December 2006.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan also alleged that the previous Congress government was unfair to tribes and had done nothing for their welfare. He further alleged that they had occupied their lands, implicated them in court cases and confiscated their tractors. He also said that the BJP has overcome that injustice. He promised to provide irrigation facilities in every village and to bring in a policy to provide employment to women in industrial establishments.
