After Hema Malini Now Baba Ramdev Gets Bumper Offer

The Maharashtra state government has given a bumper offer to yoga guru Baba Ramdev. As per reports the state government has agreed to give  600 acres of land to the Patanajli Yogpeeth run by Baba Ramdev. The government has agreed to allot the land for setting up an orange processing plant and units for its ayurvedic products.

To this effect Patanjali Yogpeeth signed an agreement with the state government. An MoU has been signed by the Union transport minister Nitin Gadkari and Balkrishna of Pantanjali Yogpeeth with the state government.

As per the agreement Governemnt will hand over 200 acres in Katol, Nagpur district, for the processing plant. Apart from this 450 acres was offered in the MIHAN Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for its ayurvedic products.The project is expected to start as soon as land and other facilities are provided to Patanjali Yogpeeth.

The opposition however has accused the government of blatant favouritism to the yoga guru's company. It accused the government of giving the land at a concessional rate. Recently Fadnavis govt triggered a controversy after it allots land worth several crores of rupees for a paltry Rs.70,000 to BJP leader and actress Hema Malini.
