What for this Indian Couple married Mid-Air?

A Maharashtra Couple planned their marriage ceremony in a unique manner. Yes, They married mid-air and that too from over 600 feet deep valley.

On Sunday, Mountaineer Jaideep Jadhav married Reshma Patil who is aiming to be an IAS Officer in the Western Ghats. They took up the challenge to marry in such an unusual manner only to create awareness among people about Adventurous Sports.

President of Western Mountain Sports in Kolhapur, Vinod Kamboj organized the wedding ceremony which took place in the valley between 3,000 feet tall peaks of Vishalgadh and Panhala. For Jaideep, Its not a big deal to be part of such an adventure  as he is already used to it. But, Reshma being a first-timer was a bit nervous. The bride and groom were seen in Maharashtrian attire.

Suraj Dholi, a 35-Year-Old priest, performed the rituals from mid-air itself. As many as 1,200 people including family, friends and villagers have witnessed the unique wedding. While the wedding was completed within 40 minutes, the whole ceremony costed anywhere around Rs 50,000.
