Mahesh Babu-Srinu Vytla @ Rs 28 crore

Who should be blamed for the escalating budgets of Tollywood films? Is it the Big Heroes or Top Directors or Ace Producers? In fact, everyone should be blamed here.

As per the Film Nagar talk, Mahesh Babu is charging a remuneration of Rs 15 crore per film and Director Srinu Vytla is demanding a package of Rs 13 crore, post the stupendous success of Dookudu.

A producer who wishes to make a film in this crazy combination need to shell out at least Rs 28 crores on the remunerations of these two A-listers alone, which is to the tune of 60% of the total budget. The remaining 40% will be spent on the payments of other artists, technicians, daily wages for the labor and the making cost. This formula effects the overall quality of project and once again highlights the point a producer is just a cashier in Tollywood.

Here Mahesh and Vytla are just taken as an example. The remunerations of Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, NTR, Rajamouli, Puri Jagannath and VV Vinayak are on par with them or even more. It's a dangerous sign!
