The issue of Padmalaya Studios is in the discussion for several months now. Few months back TRS Legislature Harish Rao approached the court seeking action against Padmalaya Studios for misusing the government land. Harish told the court that nine acres of land was allotted to Padmalaya Studios, of which five acres had been alienated to Zee Telefilms in Jubilee Hills

Harish alleged that the original conditions of allotment had been alienated but the Bench dismissed Harish writ petition.

But with the formation of telangana state the issue once again hit the lines and Krishna's Family is landed in big trouble. The district authorities have now decided to reopen the case for violation of certain conditions. Hyderabad District Collector M.K.Meena now asked the state government to do so.

He already written to the Chief Commissioner Land Administration (CCLA) to cancel the allotment of land to Padmalaya studio

“In 1982, the state government allotted the land for the construction of the studio there. But, the studio owners sold away a part of it by violating the agreementThe matter will be placed before the A.P land management aythority and a decision will be taken soon ”, said the district collector.

Seems Krishna family is the first tollywood family to face telangana wrath and May be whole Padmalaya Studios will be taken if it was approved as illegal.
