Sekhar Kammula extended his support to Samantha who was targetted by Mahesh fans after commenting 'ONE' poster is regressive. The Director felt Sam just expressed her opinion on the poster and there is nothing wrong about it. He complained this isn't the first time woman was portrayed regressively and praised Samantha for starting a debate.
Mahesh Fans attacked Sekhar Kammula this time by citing few examples from his movies and those belonged to Samantha.
Some of the reactions from Mahesh Fans:
"HAPPY DAYS chusaam .. oka lecturer nadumu ni student chusi tempt avtadu .. mimmalni em analandi ala chupinchinanduku".
"No doubt you'r true sir, but my question is, what happened to the same actress when Naga Chaitanya kissed her toe in her debut movie?! Why didn't she react then?".
"Nee movie Happydays lo madam and student relation kante regressive ga undha...mr shekar kammula".
