A woman passenger had the worst experience traveling in an airline. She will not forget the experience she had as a fellow passenger reportedly urinated on her. What's even worse is that the flight attendants did not take any action against the passenger as per the reports.
As per the reports, this disgusting incident happened in November last year. An old woman was coming to Delhi from New York on an Air India Flight. She booked a business-class ticket. A fellow passenger who is said to be in a drunk stage misbehaved with the passenger.
Reports said that the accused man reportedly went to the victim and opened his pant zip. All of a sudden he urinated on her allegedly. A fellow passenger came to her rescue and asked him to leave.
The victim was reportedly given a spare dress and pair of chappals by the aircrew. As the seat she sat in was spoiled by the drunk passenger she was given another seat by the flight attendants. She was not happy with the way the flight attendants behaved with her.
As per the media reports the issue came to the light after the victim took the issue to the notice of Air India Airlines. In a letter, she recalled the horrific incident and spoke about the behavior of the accused.
The victim is also said to have alleged that the flight attendants did not prefer looking into the matter and taking care of her who was distressed by the horrific behaviour of the drunk passenger.
After the issue raised many eyeballs, the Air India airline is said to have looked into the matter and called an inquiry. Not just an external inquiry, a police case was also filed as per the reports. An internal committee of Air Lines will look into the matter.
The statutory body Directorate General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) took a strong objection to this and directed Air India Airlines to submit a report on this reportedly. The Airline authorities reportedly replied that a police case has been filed on the issue.
Tata Group is running Air India and such issues will only bring a bad image for the services. So the authorities are expected to probe the matter soon and find the key pieces of evidence in this regard.
