Is Revolt Growing Bigger Against KCR?

Update: 2019-09-04 09:59 GMT
Slowly but surely, the chorus in favour of sldelined leader Harish Rao is growing. It’s not just a demand for his rehabilitation, but it's a demand for making him the Chief Minister of the state. This is no less than a revolt. Several party workers and lower level leaders are unhappy at the sidelining of Harish Rao, who has been a sincere and hardworking leader. His contribution to the Telangana movement has been immense. As the minister for irrigation,  he has worked hard to develop the state on the agriculture and rural development front. Yet, he was not made a minister in the government after KCR won a landslide in 2018.

On Wednesday, a large number of party workers led by TRS SC cell former vice president Chintakindi Vishnu have offered special poojas and broke 1116 coconuts at Jogulamba temple, which is counted among the Sakthi Peethams.  The party workers who gathered there demanded that Harish Rao be made the chief minister.

Almost coinciding this, senior TRS leader Etela Rajender raised a banner of revolt in Huzurabad. This has rattled the TRS honcho. There is a growing feeling among the party workers that loyal leaders like Etela and Harish are being sidelined while the leaders who have defected into the TRS only a few months ago are being pampered. They are pointing out to the preferential treatment that Talasani Srinivas Yadav and Errabelli Dayakar Rao are getting in the party. Will all this snowball into a major revolt? How will KCR and KTR douse these fires? Let's wait and see.
