One More Deadly Virus Found In China, 1 Dead 32 Tested

While the entire world is struggling to fight the Covid-19 pandemic a new virus was found in the dragon country sending the waves of fear to the rest of the world. Going into details, a person from the Yunnan Province of China lost his life who was tested positive for the Hantavirus.

Official reports state that 32 others who traveled on the same bus with the person died were been sent for medical examinations.

The Hantavirus is spread mainly by rodents and the chances of causing various disease syndromes in people are very high and the chance of person-to-person transmission is very low.

"In Chile and Argentina, rare cases of person-to-person transmission have occurred among close contacts of a person who was ill with a type of hantavirus called Andes virus," United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The CDC added that in most of the cases, hantavirus is spread when virus-containing particles from rodent urine, droppings, or saliva are stirred into the air, according to CDC.
