Maruti Suzuki launches Swift Facelift with a mid-life update, price starts at ₹5.73 lakh

Indian automobile manufacturer company Maruti Suzuki has launched its brand-new variant of Suzuki Swift. The new model, Swift 2021 comes with a lot more features and colors compared to the previous models.

With the new update in terms of cosmetic and safety front, the new vehicle will be available in three new dual-tone colours along with the revised front fascia. The prices start at ₹ 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The brand new Swift 2021 is also equipped with start-stop technology and cruise control. Swift facelift also got a tweaked engine which will generate more power.

With the mid-life update, the 1.2-litre K-Series motor was replaced with the new-generation 1.2-litre Dual Jet VVT petrol engine, which produces 88 bhp at 6000 rpm compared to the previous 82 bhp.

The new hatchback is also equipped with Idle Start Stop (ISS) technology to increase the efficiency and Dual VVT and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system for lower emissions.

The new Swift will be more fuel-efficient and the manual and AMT version offers 23.20 kmpl and 23.76 kmpl respectively.

The manufacturing company has focused on the safety standards as well that is why the new hatchback version comes with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) for the AMT version along with bigger brakes.

To offer a better return-ability mechanism, the new Swift is equipped with a revised steering system. Force limiters, seatbelt reminders for the front seats, dual airbags, and EBD are the other features offered by the company.

The new Swift comes in three dual-tone colours, Pearl Arctic White with Pearl Midnight Black Roof, Solid Fire Red with Pearl Midnight Black Roof, and Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue with Pearl Arctic White Roof.
