Mary Kom's Tokyo Olympics journey ends on a bitter note

Indian boxer Mary Kom's Olmypics journey did not go as fans expected, as he was out of the tournament in the close match. She has to leave the ring, after losing to Colombian oppenent.

At the pre-quarterfinals level, Mary Kom lost the round 16 to Ingrit Valencia in women's flyweight.

Mary Kom has to come out of the ongoing Tokyo Olympics with the two judges declaring Ingrit the winner of the round 16.

The celebrated boxer gave her maximum efforts to win the match. However, the end result came in favour of Colombian boxer with split decision.

Mary Kom was carrying high expectations to bring one more medal to the country. Tokyo Olympics is likely to be the last Olmypic outing for the boxer.

After she lost the match, Indian fans lauded her efforts to fight as much as she can and said, Mary Kom will remain special for them no matter what the match result was.
