'Masala' which is a remake of Bollywood hit Bol Bachchan failed to set the cash registers ringing despite having the multi-starrer factor.
The positive both Venky and Ram could take from this entertainer is that it has become their highest grossing film in recent times. Films like Shadow, Endukante Premanta and Ongole Gitta were disasters and couldn't even collect a share of Rs 10 crore in its fun run. In that case, Masala has done much better business!
