Mayor's Land Grab: KTR Reacts Quickly

In a swift reaction to the reports that GHMC mayor Bonthu Rammohan, his wife Bonthu Sridevi and their associates were involved in grabbing Rs 100 crore worth lands in the city, TRS working president KTR has firmly told the Mayor to stay off the land deal. He was told to move out of the agreement.

Acting quickly, the Mayor and his wife have announced that they were quitting the land deal in Narsingi. The two acre land in question is worth Rs 100 crore. The plot owners in the said land have complained to KTR about Mayor's wife entering into shady deals over their lands. This was also published in a couple of dailies in Telangana. KTR, who moved in quickly, did the damage control.. He is believed to have told the Mayor that such shady deals with bring bad name to the party and wanted him to clear the air. Accordingly, Bonthu issued a statement to the effect.

Meanwhile police officials and district revenue officials have visited the controversial site in Narsingi and inspected the lands.  Cyberabad commissioner of police VK Sajjanar  has also ordered an inquiry into the incident.
