Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) Today lifted the ban imposed on Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan from entering the Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium.
In May 2012, A scuffle took place between Shahrukh Khan and a security guard post an IPL Match. It eventually led to a heated exchange of words between King Khan and MCA Officials.
Post this incident, MCA imposed a 5 year ban on Shahrukh Khan's entry into Wankhede Stadium. Restricting SRK who is an IPL Franchise owner & most popular brand himself from attending matches at Wankhede had a negative impact in many ways.
Although the ban was supposed to end in the year 2017, Few officials of BCCI suggested to lift it a couple of years ahead and the decision was finally taken. Fans of Baadshah welcome the positive development.
