Looks like the novel Corona virus which was later dubbed as COVID-19 by the World Health Organization(WHO) continues to bother the Telugu states as the positive cases are on a rise day by day.
Hours after news reporting two positive cases of Corona virus in Anakapelli of Andhra Pradesh, Khammam district has witnessed a corona virus positive case. Going into detail, a medicine student who hails from the town has developed symptoms of the virus following which he was shifted to an isolation ward in Khammam government hospital and being treated there.
It is believed that the medical student has a travel history of the U.S.who has returned to India on the 7th of this month. His samples were sent for further examinations after he is suffering from severe cough and fever.
On the other hand, the Telangana government is very firm on its stand to fight the novel corona virus. The person who was tested positive for the virus is going through medications and treatment at the special isolation ward in Gandhi Hospital.
Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender is closely monitoring the situation in the state and directed the concerned health officials on the safety precautions that have to be taken.
