Meet the Lady SI who carried the body of an unidentified man on her shoulders

Going into detail, a Lady S.I Sirisha received a call about an unidentified old man found dead in the fields of Adavikottur village in Srikakulam. The locals refused to carry the unidentified body.
Kashibugga Sub-Inspector Sirisha has stepped in and carried the body. She has carried the body for two km and handed over the body to a local charitable trust.
With the help of a member of Lalitha Charitable trust, the lady SI carried the corpse for miles and handed over it to the trust members. She has even donated some money for the rites.
The Andhra Prades Police Department took to microblogging site Twitter to laud the humane angle of SI Sirisha. The department said, she carried the corpse for two km on her shoulders.

Talking about the incident, the SI said, she doesn't think she has done something great. It is part of my duty. Rushing the accident victims to hospitals immediately might save their lives, she said.
She has started as a Constable in 2014. After rendering her services for one and a half years at the Maddilapalem Excise SP office, she cracked the SI exams and got posted as SI in Nandigama.
