Catherine Tresa signed her next biggie after Allu Arjun's Iddarammayilatho. She will be playing the female lead in Karthi starrer Tamil-Telugu bilingual Kaali which is the title of one of Rajinikanth's old films.
With Iddarammayilatho, Catherine proved she could fit well into the bubbly characters and also open for skin show. She was even considered for one of the heroines in Ram Charan-Koratala Siva project. However, the project got shelved ruining all the hopes of Catherine.
Kaali is the only project signed by Catherine after Iddarammayilatho. This shows she has become very choosey about the films now to establish herself as star heroine.
