Following the outbreak of the deadly Covid-19, the infrastructure giant Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Limited (MEIL) came forward to lend a helping hand for the state in the battle against the pandemic.
The Managing director of MEIL, Mr. PV Krishna Reddy met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy and handed over a cheque of Rs 5. Crores to the Chief Minister relief fund.
Earlier, Mr. Reddy met Telangana CM KCR and donated Rs 5 crores to be a part of fighting the deadly virus. The MEIL has donated funds to the Karnataka and Odisha states.
Talking about Karnataka and Odisha states the infrastructure giant has donated Rs 2 crores and Rs 1 crore respectively.Mr. Sudhir Mohan, Head Karnataka region operations, MEIL met Chief Minister Mr. Yeddyurappa and handed over a cheque of Rs. 2 crores.
MEIL Vice President, Mr. Rangarajan handed over the cheque of Rs. 1 crore to the chief minister of Odisha. The MEIL has announced that they will extend their support by helping the medical staff and special forces too.
