The wait for the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet reshuffle is over and within a few days or weeks, we might see a new cabinet taking charge. The work for the same is underway and the selection of candidates is reportedly taking place keeping in mind that new districts came into existence and equal representation will be given to all the districts.
The chances for the existing members to get retained are very less and almost all the existing Cabinet Ministers will have to resign to pave way for the new Cabinet Ministers to take charge. The possible shape of the new cabinet had made a Cabinet Minister worry to a level that he became silent politically.
Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is said to be not happy with the alleged fact that he will be dropped from the cabinet, while Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh who hails from the district as his, the Prakasam district will be continued. Balineni is said to have expressed his dissatisfaction on the matter with his supporters and followers.
Seeing Balineni is not in a good mood, Advisor to the Andhra Pradesh Government Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy is said to have spoken to him and made him agree to meet Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Though there is no information on what happened during the meeting, it was informed to Balineni that he will be missing the spot and Suresh will be continued. Balineni remained silent on hearing this and he did not say anything about this, media reports said.
The alleged meeting had caught the attention of everyone as what Jagan told Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy during the meeting had become an entering topic. However, there is no information on this and unless either of them talks about this, we cannot get first-hand information.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy's supporters are also believed to have asked him what happened during the meeting. But he did not say anything to them as well. It has been widely reported that Balineni was pacified at the meeting and he was reportedly assured that he would get a plum post in the party like the in-charge of coordinator of the party in his region.
