The serving Honorable President of India Droupadi Murmu visited the holy shrine of Srisailam and took part in a few events. She came to Andhra Pradesh from Telangana and received a grand welcome in Andhra Pradesh following the protocol. But a Cabinet Minister was insulted allegedly on the tour.

As per the media reports, Minister Roja was stopped by security from attending the events. Saying that Roja's name was not mentioned in the list that was given to them the Minister was not allowed to take part in the events graced by the President of India.

Minister Roja was stopped from participating in two events reportedly. Having felt that she was humiliated at the event, Roja started leaving the place and a Union Minister came to her rescue.

Seeing all this, Union Tourism Minister Kishan Reddy spoke to the security of the President and asked them to allow her. With the Union Minister saying this the security allowed her and Roja took part in the events.

Though Roja was allowed to take part in the events the confusion at the events raised many eyeballs and the Cabinet Minister was not allowed in her own state. Many raise doubt about whether there was a miscommunication between the President's security and local authorities.

After the events, Minister Roja is believed to have expressed her anger and dissatisfaction at the officials over the miscommunication. She reportedly mentioned how she faced issues and felt humiliated as she was not allowed to take part in the events where the President was present.
