In the today cabinet meeting Telangana government taken a decision to set up minority commission to implement the development activities for minorities. Telangana government has announced multiple benefits to minorities along with 12 percent reservations during for Muslims during the assembly elections. In addition to that it committed to prepare the development plans for them to increase their financial and social status. Considering this today the cabinet approved setup of Minority commission. Commission will be responsible to regulate the rules and regulations applicable for minorities and try to resolve the legacy issues. The main aim of the Commission is to facilitate minorities with required services at their step to get them financially equal to other communities in the state.
Allocation of the funds will be taken place through the annual budget. Provided funds will be used as grants for activities which planned to minorities.
