Mithali Raj makes it to Top Five in latest ODI Rankings

Ace Indian Women's team player Mithali Raj, who leads the team in the Test format and the 50 over format had improved her ODI rankings.

She had made it to the top five of the ICC Women's ODI Rankings again, thanks to her innings against the English team in Bristol.She scored 72 runs in the match.

Mithali Raj returned to top five since October 2019. She improved her rankings by three spots to reach the fifth position with 725 rating points.

English team's opening batswoman Tammy Beaumont remained at the first spot with 791 points. The ICC has announced the latest rankings and rating points of the players on Tuesday.

Mithali Raj also holds the record of having the longest career in the game. Making her debut in 1996, she completed 22 years of career, which is still continuing.

She is often regarded as the Sachin Tendulkar of Women's team given the longitivity of her career. Both of them had played for the team for over 22 years.
