YSR Congress MLA RK Roja finally decided to put an end to the controversy that erupted with her objectionable remarks and behaviour during the debate on Call Money racket in Assembly.
It is known that Roja was suspended from AP Assembly for an year on grounds of using unparliamentary words in the House. Apart from continuing the legal fight, Roja is attending the enquiry of the House Committee. The panel sought an apology from the MLA to lift the suspension against her. Roja, however, refused to do so.
In the wake of AP Assembly session within a week, Roja changed her stand and issued an unconditional apology. The Opposition MLA even apologized to TDP MLA Anita for making comments on her personal life. She has sent a letter to Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao in this regard if the media reports are to be believed.
If Speaker accepts the apology immediately, Roja gets an opportunity to take part in the upcoming Assembly session. She needs to wait for the next session if TDP Government wishes to delay Roja's entry by forwarding the letter to the Committee to take a final call.
