The sensational MLAs poaching case in Telangana which is said to have been planned by the BJP continues to go through twists and turns. The SIT which is probing the alleged scam filed a report saying that the accused played a big role in the whole episode. However, the ACB Court quashed the report.
The development came as a big blow to the SIT which is probing the matter. Shocked by the ACB Court's decision the SIT reportedly moved the Telangana High Court to challenge the ACB Court's verdict. The court is likely to hear the petition soon.
Earlier, the ACB Court reportedly said that the evidence is not enough to see the accused as the suspects in the case. Having said that, the court said the ACB has the jurisdiction to hear the case and said SIT has no power under the Law and Order. The special court also said it can consider BL Santosh, Srinivas, and Jaggu Swamy as the accused.
To challenge all that the SIT knocked on the doors of the High Court. It is also expected that the ACB Court's orders will be changed and it will get a free hand in probing the matter. It already gathered key pieces of evidence like the WhatsApp chats and others between the accused.
The alleged row came out before the Munugode by-polls. The TRS alleged that BJP tried to poach 4 MLAs by offering a big amount of Rs 100 crores each. But the plan did not go as planned as the accused were arrested.
