MLAs Umbrella Project At AP Assembly

BJP MLAs and MLCs staged a unique protest in the AP Assembly Premises. In protest against the leakages in the AP Secretariat building, They arrived to the Monsoon Session by holding Umbrellas and wearing Raincoats.

BJP Lawmakers complained TDP Government spent hundreds of crores to built the Assembly but the rain water continues to enter into the chambers. 'It's Monsoon Season. So, We are protecting ourselves by bringing umbrellas and raincoats,' they say while displaying placards which read Govt spent Rs 10,000 per Sq Yard to build the Assembly.

Monsoon Session of AP Assembly lasts till September 19th. During the Question Hour, Members questioned about the dismal performance of the Health Ministry and poor condition of the Hospitals. BJP MLA Vishnu Kumar Raju explained the situation in Visakha KGH. MLA Gouthu Shivaji complained about lack of proper medical assistance at Palasa Health Centre. Even Tanuku and Thatikonda MLAs expressed similar views.
